PASSPORT COPIES

Does anybody know, if the photocopy of the PASSPORT biodata page has to be a notarized copy?
Or just a simple photocopy, with no athentification (notarization) needed?

It is for sending it to the VO.

For sending it to Visa Office, get its NOTARIZED COPY.
