Passport Appointment before Oath

Hello,

I know may be my question is strange ... I have my Oath Ceremony scheduled in 2 weeks, can i book an appointment now in Service Canada for a date after the Ceremony ? is this an issue?

Yes you can… I booked appointments for me in Aug 2022 the day I saw that my file has been approved in the system. The Oath happened mid Sep and I I had booked the appointment for the end of that same week.

Better to book appointment directly with Passport Canada as processing is faster
Keep a buffer of 4-5 days after the day of the Oath for the passport appointment date because it will take a few days to receive the e-certificate from IRCC
