Passport apply after oath same day

That's interesting. I became citizen on March 9th, which is Friday. They told us to apply at least after 3 business days, but I will try on Monday. ECAS shows COMPLETE.

verveiko: did it work for you to apply on Monday? I am thinking of trying to apply for the passport on the same day as the ceremony.

We applied on the next day (today) as ecas was showing COMPLETE and it worked.

Sorry for the late reply, yes we did, and yesterday we received our passports in the mail! They had asked if we were traveling soon and we had said no. So our journey is over! Thanks to all the contributors on the forum.
