I am in USA working and my driving license ID is in US address. I have my passport application ready. Can I go to Canada and apply for a urgent pickup passport application? Getting letters from my employers who want me in USA asap is not a problem. How much time will they take to give me passport? I have an alternative option to apply from US. Which one would be faster? Thanks in advance.

In Canada you can apply in one of the passport offices that offers urgent service, which means you can pick up the passport by the end of the next business day. You don't even need an appointment, but you have to wait in the walk-in line, which could be a few hours, depending on which office you go to, but some offices, for example in Saskatchewan, have short wait times.
