I’m wondering for the addresses section for the passport application, does it need to be the same addresses you gave to IRCC or can it be different ?

I applied from the UK so outside of Canada and address was different to that I'd given originally, I did however ask the London High Commission which I should put down first before I submitted my application.

In the section of the addresses for the past 2 years . The addresses you put down were different from the ones you gave IRCC ?

Yes that's correct as I've been in the UK for the past two years since Covid hit

Oh okay so for IRCC you gave Canadian addresses but the for the passport you gave uk addresses ? Thanks for your help

Yes that's right as per instructions from the embassy
