Hello there,

I got two passports with me

1. Passport A - Expired in 2015 but got UK student visa as I studied in the country from September 2009 to January 2011.

2. Passport B - Current passport valid till 2025.

Question - Which passport I have to put in post-ITA.

// Travel History

Mine Travel History are as follows -

Hometown - New Delhi, India

2005-09 - Mumbai, made multiple trips back to Delhi.
2009 (for three months continuously) - Delhi - post Bachelor studies.
September 2009 - January 2011 - Birmingham UK
January 2011 till now - Delhi

Please guide what to put in Travel History post-ITA.

Thanks.

Put Passport B.. No harm in uploading your UK student visa in the passport section or in the LOE.

Travel history requires international travels only. So you can add your UK travel from Sep 09 till Jan 11 (with the exact travel dates of course) provided that you haven't travelled anywhere else in between.

What exactly do you mean by provided u haven't travelled anywhere else in between?

I currently live in my home country Nigeria but I lived in the UK from 2005 to 2011 and in between those years I travelled to the Netherlands a couple of times and I travelled to the U.S also. Are u saying I should not include my travel dates to the U.S and Netherlands?

Hi,

I am currently uploading documents as I got ITA early this week. I am confused about the passport thing. The instructions in the checklist says that I should upload the bio-data page of my passport and any pages with stamps, visas or markings. Now my current passport is still fresh as I only got it last year and I haven't used it to travel out of the county yet and it doesn't have any stamps or markings. I don't know if I should just upload only the biodata page.

All my visas and visa refusal stamps are in old passports dating back to 2005. I don't know if CIC wants me to include the pages of those stamps & visas in the old passports. I don't know what CIC's end game is with this. Are they trying to see the proof for the travel history we filled? If am to take the information in the image below literally, two keywords are to submit a valid travel document and the passport that I am going to use to travel. So it means any pages with visas should be from the new passport right?. But then again my mind is telling me to play it safe and not assume.

Someone please help me make a sense of this.

I meant that he can only add one field for the UK as his only international travel. If he traveled during his stay in the UK, then he has to mention those travels too.

You should include your travels of course.

Mate,

In UK, I traveled twice only to London from Birmingham - one for New Year and other at the time when I am leaving the country - this is the best I remember.

While in Birmingham, I got three addresses in total.

So what you suggest, I have to put over their?

Like I said, travel history is for international travels from one country to another. From what I understood in your post, you only travelled from India to the UK and never left until you finished your studies. You're now based in India.

As for addresses, you can only have one address at a given time. So mention all your addresses while keeping that in mind. (e.g. when you lived in the UK, you address would be there)
