Passport and PR card renewal

Hi All,

I have a question. I had applied for my citizenship in Mar 2019. The last we had was that my husband has been requested fingerprints back in Aug 2019. Ever since things were stuck due to covid and all. My passport is running out of pages and my PR card is expiring in May 2021. I would like to know in the event that I renew both these documents, would it impact my citizenship process?

Please let me know if anyone has experienced this situation...

Renewing your passport and/or PR card is not related to your citizenship application at all. No effect on your processing.
