Passport and open work permit about to expired

Hi..
Just wanted to inquire about my situation, my passport will expired January 2013 together with my open work permit. And I applied for my permanent residence last November 2010. I am going to renew my passport this month..i am currently working under live in caregiver program..since i am already open work permit, i wanted to work related to my field..meaning i will no longer be working as nanny..i am looking for job that doesn't require LMO..
My questions are:
- do i need to stay with a job that requires LMO or contract/job offer since i am still under open work permit?
- if i am gonna apply for extension of my open work permit, do i need to find a job that requires LMO for that, or U will based my extension with my renewed passport?
-what are the requirements for extension of open work permit?

Pls help coz I wanted to find job that will help me fund my schooling since i can't avail the student loan yet.. Coz i wanted to go to university this fall..

You said the you have an open work permit, if you do, you can work at any occupation that you want. You don't need a LMO.

You don't need a new contract either. You said you have an open work permit. Just find an employer and go to work.

Hi I have an open work permit which i got in march 11 2017 and my temporary visa in passport got expired this january and I am waiting for pr now after 8 months of application it taking longer time cic says for live in caregiver process is 56 month so now need to renew my passport visa to visit my place can somebody tell me what is the requirement and will it get renew after long gap though I have open work permit which expires at 2022.
