Why is that you could not submit a option c ? Did you mention the reason when you submitted your application. Under certain circumstances applications are approved..but the probablity is very low. I would advice that you continue to persue to try and get your Option C and still send it.

Hi!

I agree with lands. Order it again! Ask them to verify your address, maybe they have an outdated one. Just give them a call and you should have your Option C in a few days. It is really worth trying to get it again.

if you have last year's option c, I think it is preferable to submit it. However if it's really holding up your application, it's probably fine to submit the pay stubs and proof of employment, as long as you send along the Option C when you receive it, and write a note explaining why you have not included it.

I accidentally left out my option c print out. When I contacted immigration, they contacted Mississauga and assured me they would not return my package for something small like that, and that I would be contacted to either fax it to them or send it directly to the person working on my application.

Don't know if that helps you. Good luck!

I didn't send mine because they hadn't assessed my taxes yet. The bastards assessed it a few days after we sent it though!!

In my application, I sent all my payslips from the UK and my T4 slips from the tax year in Canada just before I left (so the T4s for the 2009 year, plus all the UK payslips from 2009-present).

I have my Notice of Assessment now - should I be faxing that over?

Well I just sent them a fax with my Notice of Assessment which was printed from My Account on the Canada Revenue Agency website just in case!!

I also snuck in a few more pieces of evidence to return.

I really feel like sending them a frank letter; something along the lines of: "Why would I NOT want to go back to Canada? It's cheaper, the standard of living is better, my friends and family are there, I can drive there, etc. etc. etc.!" hahaha.

Well, here's hoping.

I didn't include Option C but I included a letter explaining why I hadn't included it and provided copies of information similar to what you included, lexie. This was on the advice of a representative at CIC. I was approved as the sponsor quickly and my husband is now here in Canada. So it's fine not to include Option C as long as you include an explanation and provide other documentation.
