Part-Time Work Permit Question

Hello,
I am in Canada right now and here to seek some help from experts.
I am working part-time right now and paid together for 2 weeks on a cheque. So, the question is my paycheque should not exceed 40hrs rights? (20*2 = 40)

And i have 2 years study permit till 2017. What if i want to apply for a Co-op? Do i need a Co-op permit and simultaneously my study visa will be extended?

Work permitted -
Term time: 20 hours per week
Holiday time: 40 hours per week

How often you are paid does not apply, simply the hours per week you work.
