As CIC is now welcoming part time work experience. So, anyone can tell me what does it mean by part time work ? I mean how many hours it requires ? or part time work gets the same points as full time work ? or anyone have more information regarding this .. please do share.

calculate your part time work according to the following formula
37.5 hours = one week

Minimum hours required for being full time is 30 hr/week.

So say for example you worked for 4 weeks as follows(one month calculation)
20+25+25+25= 95 hours for one month

Divide it by 30, and it will give you no of full time weeks.

95/30= 3.17 fulltime weeks.

Agreed. You should use 30 hours as the base calculation (not 37.5).

No you have to convert part-time hours into full-time. There is no doubt about it.

If you are working 8 hr a day for 5 days a week. It make you a fulltime employee as it is 40 hours per week. Minimum hours needed to be considered fulltime is 30 hours.

Yes any thing below 30 hrs is part time.

I already gave you calculations for full time week. Total up all the hour uptill now divide by 30. So say you worked for 1260 hours in 1 year then you have 42 of full time work experience. all you need is another 300 hours which is another 10 weeks. It will add up to 1560 hours which is 52 weeks of full time work.

can i show combine work experience within the same time period.
like one company give me full time experience and another company give me experience letter for part time within the
same time period ? is it acceptable ? or will both combine together make a full time ?
