Hello everyone,
I have become part-time student in DLI registered public college, if I show full-time at the same time in private college which offers online course then can I get pgwp?
Also can I work part time in my last semester as a part-time student?

You can only be part time the last semester. So how are you attending two schools with one study permit? Only the school on your study permit will count, so you need to be full time or you are not eligible for PGWP.

So I studied one subject in public college as a part-time student and I enrolled myself as a full-time student in private college which offers online classes to maintain a full-time status, this is from May to August 2024. Now from September 2024 to Dec 2024 will be my last semester as a part-time student in a public college. Is it okay?

No, it is not okay. I assume that your study permit is in the name of the public DLI so that is the only school that counts towards your PGWP requirements. You need to be a full-time student at the school on your study permit. Taking courses at another school full-time is not part of your PGWP application. How are you legally studying at two schools? Have you notified IRCC that you are studying at two schools and probably one without a study permit?

At that time there was no rule to have different study permit for different college, so I got admission in private college from may 2024 to September 2024 because I had study permit till September 2024, understood?

What are you talking about… “there was no rule to have different study permit”. There has always been a rule that you study full time at the DLI on your study permit to be eligible for PGWP. Any studies/courses at The private school don’t count towards PGWP. IRCC doesn’t even know or did you notify IRCC that you changed DLIs. If you include the private college in your PGWP application, IRCC will know you didn’t notify them about the change & you were studying at another school without a permit. Even so you are a part time student at the DLI on your permit & not eligible for PGWP. You can’t merge courses at different schools to be full time.

I did not merge courses, I paid fees at private college for full-time studies and part-time at DLI is different thing. I came here with 2 year study permit, I enrolled at private college just change my status from part-time student to full time. How many years of months you get for a PGWP depends on length and full time status of one program only.

You CANNOT study at two schools at the same time on one study permit. You are studying without IRCC authorization at one school. So whichever school that is that will not count towards PGWP. In fact, if you include that school’s transcripts, you may be in trouble for studying and working in Canada without a study permit for that school.

I am just a normal international student, I don't have knowledge of your level. So What I understood from your answers is that I have zero chances of getting pgwp and I should expect myself to get into trouble for studying in private college and working part-time. May I ask what's your profession and are you a registered immigration adviser?

Get an immigration lawyer or consultant to advise you if you want professional advice. This is a volunteer forum, and used to work for federal and provincial governments.

To be eligible for PGWP, you must be full time except the last semester for the DLI on your study permit. I don’t know how many part time semesters you have but seems like more than one. Being full time at a school that you don’t even have a study permit for will not be considered. As for working, you need to meet the requirements of the study permit but p-t should be okay.
