Part time student in my third semester will it affect my PGPWP

I need advice with my current situation I am an International student from Seneca College, and I am down to may last 7 subjects, However 4 of these subjects are only offered during the winter term and the other 3 subjects are only offered this fall term.

Ex. I need Subjects A,B,C,D,E,F,G to finish my program but this term they only offer

Fall 2019 : Subject A,B,C
Winter 2020 : Subject D,E,F,G

I need 4 courses to be able to maintain my full time student status but this occurence is totally out of my control I do not know what to do? I really wanted to finish my program ASAP and get a PGWP in the future. Please enlighten me.

Yes, if your college says these two semesters are part of the same academic year, then it will count. You should ask your college. As far as I can see, it should count.

Yes, if your college says these two semesters are part of the same academic year, then it will count. You should ask your college. As far as I can see, it should count.

Yes, being part-time in a middle semester can result in PGWP refusal. Full-time programs are scheduled so that this doesn't happen. Did you fail a course or miss a pre-req?

Yeah, why are you in this situation?

If this is through no fault of your own (or it was sort of compelling circumstance), you can still get a PGWP since officers are expected to exercise discretion and not deny genuine students who were unable to comply for some external reason (like a school strike/closure).

However, if this is your own fault with no strong reason, and your school says that the two semesters are different sessions, then you will have issues.

No I did not miss and fail any courses but this is my timeline.

I started

Fall 2018 in English Language Institute plus 3 courses from my professional program (This does not count for PGWP right?)
Winter 2019 first semester in my professional program enrolled in 6 courses which is a full load
Summer 2019 Second Semester in my professional program enrolled in 7 courses still a full load

I have 7 remaining subjects left

Fall 2019 - 3 courses does count as part time (but I have no other choice because I dont want to skip the fall semester and wait for fall 2020)
Winter 2020 - last 4 courses

So it seems you combined the language courses with your program and there were no scheduled breaks in the program?

For my program it is our discretion if we wanted to take a semester off or study, I chose to study because the international student advisor advised me to take 2 consecutive terms as a full time student so I would not have any gap for my PGWP application.

Consider adding any useless course to increase your credits.
