Part time jobs in Canada

I want to confirm, that as a PR we can do any job in Canada. Its not like US where you have to work in your relevant field?

If that is the case, do you know any links on how I can find part time jobs, till I find a proper full time gig.

You can do any job with PR.

Check out kijiji. There are odd jobs posted there all the time

Pretty tough time to find employment so would prepare for up to 6 months of unemployment and spend accordingly.
