Part Time job

If I have a work experience as part-time job for 3 years. Will CIC take it as 1.5 yrs FT job in the work experince factor ? Please let me know about it I am worried that it will reduce my points unfortunately ?

Full time job is defined as 1950 hours per year, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/entrepreneurs/arriving-conditions.asp so figure out how many hours you had and divide by 1950 to find how many years worth.

Are you trying to say that although CIC accepts part time work experince but they shall be converting part time experience into full time experince and then granting points for the converted duration of years ? Is it like that ? I hope not ?

Besides that do they consider internships as work experince ?

Does anybody know where it is documented in CIC forms that Part Time work experience will be converted to equivalent Full time work experience. I cannot find it either in the checklist or forms description ??


Secondly do they accept internships as PT experience ?

Thirdly, How am I suppose to check mark the years for my Part time job in the work duration on the appl. form page 2 of Schedule 3 IMM 0008 for economic classes - FSW ? Do I need to check mark the years after converting the into equivalent FT job or should I put in the exact duration of my PT job without converting my self and CIC people will do it theirselves when they evaluate my application ? Please let me know as I am trying to submit these forms?
