Part-time job experience equivalence

Hello Everyone,

I been working as a part-time teaching assistant from May 25th, 2008 untill April 16th, 2009 @ 10hours/week. I was wondering how many months is it equivalent to for full time job experience.

If you want to apply under CEC as a graduate, you can only count work experience after you graduate, not during your studies. You would need 1 year experience which is classified as 1950 hours.

Leon is right, but if your question is how to count up that work experience - 37.5 hours per week is considered full-time, so -

Go to a calender and count the actual number of weeks that that you worked. I can't do that for you

Let's say (for example) the number of weeks is 55, at 10 hours per week. Put it into this formula:

55 * 10 / 37.5 = 14.7 weeks is the full-time equivalent.

Hi forum members,
Would u plz let me know that how CHC would award points for the following experience

feb 2008 - feb 2009 (2282)IT support technician (1 year part time)

mar 2006 - oct 2006 (0213) MIS assisstant (8 months)

I already have 3 year points for full time but bit confuse how to count these ones..
i would appreciate your response guys
