Hello,

Do we need to mention any/all part time employment held for say 2-weeks/a month in the CEC application (Specifically the IMM5669E and imm0008_8e forms)?

For example, I had a worked in Superstore as a cashier for about 2 weeks then in a Call Centre for 2 weeks before I received a FT job under which I am applying for the CEC PR (worked here for 1,5 years, NOC 2171)

Thank you all for answering.

Anand,

If your part time employment was legal, as in, under proper work permit or visa, you should definitely indicate it on your application. My guess is no term of employment is too short to put on the application. They have a box to specify hours/week.

If it was illegal, and if you dont disclose it, not sure, but they may find out. Of course, if it was illegal and you disclose it, they will probably reject. :-X

Was the superstore and call centre work legal? Had you gotten an LMO for those jobs?

Hello guyrichy ,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, all my employment was definately legal!

My concern was only do I then have to provide the Reference Letter/Letter of Employment for these roles as well? I doubt the cashier and call centre jobs provide such letters, but if necessary I have to ask.

Do you know if such letters (Reference Letters) are necessary for this 2-week/month long part time job?

Thanks once again!
