I am not sure if she can drop it off manually or not but if you mail it, it would be best for you to send it by registered mail with a notice of reception as they are very important documents. My husband sent his identity photos to the Paris VO from Reunion Island by registered mail just to be safe to make sure they arrived as quickly as possible and that they got into the right hands.

that's what i did, and with my bad luck, i see that my mail have been delivered with the tracking number, but i received no notice of reception (still waiting for the "accusé de réception")...

The thing is that there is a 30-day period that is decisive... I admit this stresses me out.

I would definitely be stressed out too! Is there any way you can contact them to find out what is going on? How long has it been now? I am praying for you and have my fingers crossed that everything works out!!

Still nothing. It's also been more than 30 days since my request for GCMS notes, and no reply to that request either.
Nothing.

very happy for you, icewizard. Our submission was sent on January 13th, and we are still waiting. It's really nerve wrecking to lengths one has to go through for a spouse.

Stupid question.. do most European applicants go to Paris even if they're living in USA? I'm wondering what my VO will be.

The VO is based on where you live, not where you're from

Any updates for anyone? I'm still waiting for them to finish the security checks. It's been 1 year... sigh. Please tell me someone is receiving good news from PARIS VO?

...sigh

Hi, our application was filed in May 2016, and he has been interviewed, passed eligibility, as of end of Sept 2016, and since then we are waiting one year for Security background checks, with no end in sight. There are no updates available from anyone regarding how much longer it will take. Very depressing.

Is all Algeria applications transfer to Paris office ?
Yes, all Algerian applications normally are processed by the Paris Visa Office.

That is very depressing, I’m on the same boat as you. We filed ours in August 2016 and eligibility was approved November 2016. So now I’m still waiting for them to finish their security checks. Our application “due date” was sept 20 and the security checks “due date” was sept 15. But from what everyone is saying... due dates don’t mean anything anymore.

Sigh, I just want him here. I swear the whole immigration process wears you down. Feels like it’ll be forever till I can finally start my life with my own spouse. Paris visa office needs to step it up and finish our applications ASAP.
