so your wife's brother going on her behalf (AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE VISAS TO A THIRD PARTY ) will be included , and laissez-passer page 7 on the same letter she got from paris fill the file number and complete name that's all .

Please anyone let me know if this would be a problem and if anyone else done the same before fingerprints are not required for PR but they are for visitor visa, work permit and others so I am not sure if this will confuse the VAC office or not

about signing the authorization or as your wife did fingerprint instead of signing which is common in maghrebian countries , its not a problem and anyway your wife can send the both papers again to her brother , just sign the authorization and fill the laissez-passer scan it send it by email to her brother .

so guys ready to read interview questions
ok i was there before time around an hour before my interview time i got security check at 930am Phone was taken away as well and was asked to wait in waiting area untill my interview time which was 11am. on about 1045am was called upstairs where i met a lady at reception she asked me to come into room pointing that! so i went to that room and closed the door. it was a small room with 2 chairs in it and mirror in center and there was a lady across the mirror side and on my side a mic (which wasnt working so well) speaker camera with stand and signature thingy! and lady was very nice and polite but during interview when ever she asks me questions she was very tiny tiny bit strict which i thinks she should be!! ok thats all the location and atmosphere !
well lady told me that she is going to interview me to access our application and told me how it will happen she said she will ask me a series of quesions and also said may be one quesion will be ask for more then 2 times from different angles i said all right!

  where are you living
  how did you come to Portugal
  what is you spouse name
  how the proposal take place
  as your marriage was arranged so Who arranged this marriage
  who are these persons who arranged this marriage (so here is short story my uncle and his brother they initially gave proposal to my parents and my unclez wife is my sister in law as well so we know them for a long time so they all arranged it and I have to make her understand to the interviewer how it all was arranged so i got help from pen and paper too to give her better idea)
  when did you meet them and where (my sister in law and uncles)
  how long you lived in England How did you come to Norway and WHY ??
  what you did in England and why you left england and went Portugal
  when and where you met in person to your spouse (my answer was on our wedding day as per our muslim culture ) so she asked Why not before marraige so i replied this
  Did you talk with each other before getting marry i said yh only once!
  what is your education?
  what kind of job you had in Portugal
  what was the name of company in which you had job in Portugal what kind of work it was?(again i have to explain all the work as i was technician of Philps Merchandise so she said i dont know what is this explain it to me)
  why you left the Job why not any other job you are doing noe
  why are you staying in Norway why not in Portugal (so i said coz of employment crises and language barrier)
  she said then why you dont go to Pakistan and works there why are staying here loads of tricky questions!!!
  what is level of your spouse education
  what study she has done in Canada what is the name of Course she did what is name of Instituation?
  where did you go for honeymoon

so after this she started to ask about my wife and lots of questions as my spouse was married before so more questions here we go​

so guys i guess all these question i remember may be i am missing some anyway after this the lady said ok the interview is over now and i am satisfy with your interview these were her last words and asked me if i have any question to ask and she said your medical is expired and more than 3 months have passed and i am afraid it may not be extendable i have to call them and ask them also you have resided in norway more then 6 months so you need the police check and i replied it would not be possible for me to get police check of Norway as i do not have any registration number of Norway she said i will confirm this and Embassy will send me an email regarding these 2 issues now i am awaiting and good thing is my ecas is IN PROCESS now since last 3 days yh thats ALL

But the good thing is that she told you she was satisfied...so now back to the waiting game... I send you all the good vibes I can find
Me I am just frustrated not to be able to go and pick up the right sofa I just found on Craiglist and I am almost sure by the end of August (time we get there) that it will be already sold!!! so I guess those are very very very small problems compare to everybody's ones on the site...that's why I don't write too much... ;D

Thanks a lot Misbah. That was very useful. I am not sure if my wife would be able to answer all of these questions. These are very personal and specific questions.
I was married too but never talked with my wife about my relationship with my ex-wife.
Names of the companies that my siblings are working for. How is it possible for her to know the answer of this question !!!!

A question to you and to everyone here,
Do you think it will help more if I travel to Algeria and go with my wife to the interview? Is it allowed for me to attend the interview with her if I travel there?​

Sa3 you can go and it is permitted to with her in interview but I am afraid you will have to wait in waiting area in embassy and only your wife will go inside interview room but I am not sure for this!
One thing is sure you can go with her on interview!

But one problem I am afraid off is that I lived in Norway 2 times for more than 3 months but I think I can't get police check of Norway bcoz I don't have any registration number of Norway which is compulsory to get Norwegian police check I will try and will ask Norwegian police to give me police check I think they will not issue me coz I don't have registration number of Norway
Bcoz 2 years ago I needed this for Portugal immigration purpose and I contacted with Norwegian embassy in Portugal and they didn't issue me having said that I don't have any Norwegian registration number

Have anyone of you been in this situation and can help me or guide me plz

The application must include:

Application form
Certified copy of valid passport, drivers licence or bank card containing your photo and signature
Documentation of why you need the criminal record certificate
Signature of parent/legal guardian if you are under the age of 18 .

but as you live now in norway you know that you overstayed your visa , because you are only allowed to stay 3 month , and this is what caused you the problem from the begining , so try to apply by post and attache an explanation letter with your application .
in the worst case scenario you may try to apply for a portuguese criminal record and includ a letter to paris visa office explaining that porttugal and norwway they have a common data base called SIS (system information schengen ) for individuals who have criminal history , theorists,asylum seekers .
the point is you have a clean criminal record in portugal mean you have clean criminal record in schengen area and EEA which includ norway .

No I didn't over stay in Norway when 3 months were close for exit I did leave Norwegian border and stayed out of Norway for couple of days like in Sweden or Denmark and after that again entered so in my sense I didn't over stay in schengen country and most important is I don't have Norwegian registration number which is necessary for getting police check!
And Norwegian registration only can be slotted to those who hold Norwegian residence permit either temporary or permanent !

Thanks guys for answering my questions yes there is an authorization form, just wondering can I check the status online when they picked it up they should of drop it and picked it up yesterday will it be online today it says updated every tuesday however it doesn't say if the visas were issued will it say that eventually, I am just worried that they did something wrong in the paper they had 30 days but they just got a chance right now my visa was sent to my email July 8 is the 30 days just normal days or work days? because the VAC only opens Monday and Wednesdays 2 days a week if its 30 normal days it ends aug 8 I am afraid something will go wrong its actually her brothers friend that is going on her behalf all papers are signed I just havn't seen them to make sure their correct and he has already gone if anything goes wrong what would I do in that case, just get her a normal visa or if they didn't extend the date I am going there on Aug 6 so if they didn't get it I can go get it I am going and have my departure and return and her return with us so I am expecting they get it right but I am worried on another side I will be going through egypt so I won't be there before Aug 8 just wanna know is that normal 30 days or 30 working days?

misha do you know that you can only stay 3 month in 12 month in norway or( any other schengen country) , even if you went to sweden or denmark its still schengen area and its not about where you go its about duration of stay they set for schengen area, so it's called over stay , and you can't have a registration number in norway because you are only a tourist , so as i told you try to apply for criminal record by post or perosnally bring your portugaise residence card and your passport , they are going to help you , and you can also ask if you can get this document from the court .

But I hold Portuguese residence permit of 2 years on which I do travel and Portugal is also a member of schengen area so how to evaluate this situation now!
