Hi all,
I am applying for masters under university category.
My course fees is $25000k, and I am done with my GIC and first sem fees.
My both parents are working and their total annual income (both) is Rs16-17Lakhs
Now I have mentioned it in my visa application form, but no proofs regarding the same are being asked.
My consultant told that there is no need for unnecessary docs like ITR and salary slips.

Just mentioning parents annual income in Visa application form is enuf ?????

I have applied for loan as well (Rs 12L, just to make my file stronger), but my consultant says loan letter is not reqd at all.
Please sugggest !! :(

Your consultant is right. If you have GIC, loan letter is useless.

1. PREFERRED OPTION for proof of funds: Evidence of purchase of a special Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a participating Canadian financial institution, in the amount of $10,000 CAD to cover living expenses for your first year in Canada and evidence of payment for your tuition. See information on the following page for information on how to obtain a GIC.

As an alternate option, you can fulfill the financial requirement by submitting a copy of the receipt for your tuition fee) AND a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to $10 000 CAD. See information on the following page for the list of acceptable banks.

2. Parents ITR/payslips not required.

Hi,

1. All refused SPP veterans must apply under 'general' (for both SPP & Non-SPP DLI)
2. You can apply under 'general' in the 1st attempt if going for a non-SPP (DLI), if refused, can't use SPP as a 2nd option.
3. 'University' for anyone intending to join University.
Thanks a ton for ur replies..
This clears my queries.. :)
I am applying under university category
