Hello everyone,

I’m planning for my parents to visit Canada for about 3 to 4 months to meet my newborn son and spend some time with us as a family. I’m considering applying for either a Visitor Visa or a Super Visa for them and would love some guidance on which would be the better option. Specifically, I’d like to know which visa type typically has a faster processing time and lower risk of rejection for a stay of this length. Additionally, since I’ll be covering all their expenses, would that be a potential issue for a Visitor Visa? Any insights from those who’ve been through this process would be much appreciated!

They still need submissions of their own financials to meet their expenses (your intention of covering all their expenses will not be considered).

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question to ask regarding my mother’s super visa application as I’m planning to submit it soon.

First off, I'm self-employed and I file taxes every year I’m going to include my recent NOA as proof of income and I meet the LICO requirements.

Can I include business bank statements as proof of funds?

Thanks

No just NOA that shows income met. T1 or T4. IRCC doesn’t accept business statements

Ok, thanks for the reply. All my payments go to business bank account and I transfer funds from business account to personal account when needed but I keep all the savings in business account.

If I transfer big amounts now from business to personal account and show as proof of funds. Is it going to be a problem?

Thanks

You don’t show bank accounts. Your NOA shows that you meet LICO.

No, business account cannot be a proof of funds. Only personal accounts.
