Hi All,
Quick update and some help required please!
This morning I received the BVL and Passport Request for my Mother and Sister's visit visa. My Father's visit visa is still showing under process. I did see a ghost update almost 5 weeks back. I had applications on both the old and New portal. Both portals have received the same updates.
Entire Family applied together from Pakistan (Visa processing center is Abu Dhabi) on Dec 10 2021 (yes received PPR after 1.5 years!). My Parents had visit visas before and visited me couple of times previously (never over-stayed or anything else). Regarding my sister, she was the first time applicant. This short summary may keep your hope up if you are still waiting for visa approval for your loved ones.

Now I have a question and some help is required from your experiences.

My sister's passport is valid till Nov 2026 and her biometric is valid until Dec 2031. It is my undertsanding that she will not get her visa validation beyond Nov 2026, given the fact her passport expires during that month and year. Now, has someone had an experience to get an updated passport for their parents/siblings and then submit the updated passport to get maximum visa duration? Please note again that the PPR has already been received this morning. We just didn't expect that they are going to sit on these files for 1.5years.

I have applied for my parents (Super visa) on November 1, 2022. Since then, the only updates on the profile was
- Submission confirmation Nov 1, 2022
- Confirmation of Online Application Transmission Nov 1, 2022

No updates since then....

Any suggestions?

Congratz. Can you please tell how much time did IRCC take after medical status changed to PASSED?

I applied for my mother\s visa on 29Dec2022 and her medical status changed to PASSED on 3rdApr2023. Just wanted to know how much time does IRCC take after medical update.

Want to apply Super Visa for my parents living in Pakistan (Income Threshold achieved for me)
Father retired long time ago (no income), mother was not working as well. No Income for both.
Father owns agricultural land and, can provide ownership docs (no other property under ownership at this moment)
Parents live with bother at this moment. Both of us financially support them.

Since its Super Visa and they would be staying for two years with me, do i need to prove their ties to Pakistan?


Would appreciate some guidance.

Applied for my mother on 26th April, on 29th got the account summary email and on 30 April got the biometrics letter.
Biometrics booked for 1st May.

1) Your brother is in Pakistan is also a strong tie just mention the same address of your parents and brother when filling application
2) And you can attach Property (agriculture) ownership docs and bank statements of your parents if they have bank account in Pakistan

Hi All,

I applied super visa for my mom and her visiting visa got refused twice before from Pakistan

Application Submitted 02 Jan 2023
Upfront Medical attached and biometric from privious application
No update since other then confirmation of submission
Request for sending Passport May 03 today
Alhamdullilah

BVL received on 29th April.
Visa details updated on tracker on 1st May. Trackers shows everything completed except Background check which in progress.
Waiting for PPR.

Hey everyone,
If you know please support me:
My mom visited Canada super Visa 2018. Her visa expired and we applied again online on April 30, 2023. In the application, her biometrics are still valid until 2027 but we wanted to retake it and put YES to do it again. Otherwise, they said she only get a visa until 2027. We paid for Visa + biometric $185.
Today CIC login shows her old biometric expired in 2027 & changed status to Client Application summary.
Now what will be the next steps? Will we receive new biometric requests?
Is anyone in the same situation or please share your experience?
