Hello Guys,

I am very new here, I have just Got my PR even did not receive the PR card yet. But I am really willing to apply for my parents for Visitor Visa so they can visit me. They have US Visa also But I want to bring him here on Visit. I am currently doing permanent Job in Canada.

Please tell me what is the best options and what is the exact requirements for that. ?

Sorry for asking very general questions, may be these are already answers before. I would really appreciate if any one please input their experience here.

Thanks in advance.

From which country will they be coming? My MIL is from Philippines and we used an agency which worked well for us. Strongly suggest your parents use an agency if they are available in their home country. They will tell you/your parents everything they need.

Here is information for the parent super visa: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa.asp

And here is information for a regular visitors visa: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/tourist.asp

For the super visa you need to meet the minimum income threshold and your parents will have to get private health insurance. For the regular visitor visa there are no income/health insurance requirements.

Go to cic.gc.ca. Everything you need to know is there. Make a letter of invitation, get a confirmation of employment from your employer, T4, document check the document checklist for more info.
