Parents TRV Second Time - Need Suggestions

Hello All

My parents are applying for the visit visa to Canada second time. Last time they applied in Feb 2016 and got refuse due to travel history and ties in Canada and country of residence. I would like my parents to visit canada and stay with us for two weeks in summer. I am just struggling with the purpose of visit. Last time they applied for my convocation and I was on PGWP. Now I am married and on PR with my wife.
Is the reason to invite them to celebrate religious occasion like EID is good?
This time my parents will submit the following details:
- Application Forms
- Letter of Explanation
- Job experience letter
- salary certificate
- tax letter
- owned property
- funds letter of CAD 3K
- bank statement of CAD 8K
- marriage certificate
- family certifcate ( we are four, 3 of my siblings are back home studying and working, Living with my parents)
My and my wife Documents
- notorized invitation letter
- PR copies
- passport copies
- bank statement of CAD 6K
- job letter
- Tax assessment
- pay stubs
- driving license

Kindly experts @Bryanna @scylla @ubfx and others please review my profile and let me know if there is any thing that I should add or remove? I can also send my letter of invitation and letter of explanation from my parents.

First, your parents must apply online. VFS Karachi may not accept critical documents/evidence for paper submissions.

Second, 'Purpose of visit': Do prepare a day-by-day itinerary with expense estimates. Your parents must have the finances to pay for this visit plan, airfare, etc

4. Leave approval letter issued by the employer + bank statement to which the salary is credited

5. Proofs that your siblings live at the same address as your parents + evidence that they are dependent on your parents (the siblings who are studying)

6. Any other dependent family members (grandparents)?

They have prepared a day by day itinerary and total expense shown their is $5000 CAD for two weeks.

It can be one of the reasons, but don't state it as the only reason to visit.

Yes I have mentioned sight seeing and meeting with family relatives as purpose.

They can max do $10,000 with their next income. Other than that they cant arrange it. With 5000 CAD shown in schedule isn't going to be enough?

No investment except a property owned and they will attach property valuation and tax slip for it.

They have got the letter stating a visa can be granted to the employee, however, officially he has to apply vacations when gets visa that the rule in his office. However, it is mentioned about his experience since 1991 in the office his position, his salary and about fund.

Yes, he is providing proof that the siblings are living with them showing their family certificate. no grandparents no other dependents.

I can not arrange more than that. I am showing my tax assessment and monthly salary of 65000 CAD..

Not sure what can we do.

No, it isn't enough for two applicants.

The stronger the financial situation back home, the less likely someone will overstay the visit. In this case, your parents as well as you have weak financial situations.

Monthly salary of CAD 65,000? Guess that's a typo with an extra zero.

You can include your wife's income/bank statements, etc.


Quite honestly, they don't have strong applications. It's best to wait until host and parents save up more + your parents can show stronger ties to Pakistan. You have a few more months for this if they plan to visit in the summer
