Hi,

I have applied for my in-laws TRV which is denied and they sent recorded message.

- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

Reason for Visit: My wife is pregnant so she has sent an invitation letter with all her details in.

My Father in-law is retired govt officer and mother is a house wife. He has showed all assets worth around 7-8 laks.

Can someone please advise if they been in this sort of situation before and how they tackle this or can some expert give some advise this resolve this.

Thanks.

Apart from assets, have they shown family ties that will motivate them to return to their home country? Also did they purchase insurance?

Their savings are too low. Also if your wife indicated that they are coming to care for your wife and child that is another reason they were refused. That is considered work.
