The application was submitted for Super Visa in October 2024. The medical has been passed in January 2025 for both of them & the
principal applicant of the application already received passport with stamping. But haven't received the passport request letter for second applicant, even both the applications were submitted together as family. Raised 2 webforms but received the generic response as "in progress". I am not sure if this is normal and how long will it take to get the passport request letter? Thanks

Every person is still processed individually. Assume it may be your father. What is their home country and would some of his work history raise any red flags like military, law enforcement, senior gvt position, etc.

@canuck78 thanks for the response! yeah right, it is processed individually. It is pending for my mother and do not have as such military etc as she is homemaker.

Any other red flags in her background? If not would suggest asking your MP to follow-up on why your mother had not been approved but your father had. You could also start with ordering GCMS notes first.

@canuck78 I do not think any red flag in her background as she has travel history and visited Canada 3 times on visitor visa in the past. Yeah I am thinking to ask local MP but after federal election as it seems right now everyone is busy in the election and I feel parliament is dissolved if I am not wrong. GCMS is second option too

Given the situation MP is probably the best option but agree after the election may be best.
