Hello senior members,
I am planning to sponsor my parents through Parents (PGP) sponsorship category next year. And then apply for spousal sponsorship after I get married few months later. Now my question here is regarding one of the forms I was reading.
"Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344]".
In SPONSOR ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENT section, question#6 asks:
"Have you submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family members?
Now I am flabbergasted & confused with this, because does that mean in my case if I apply for my parents and if they don't get the outcome within few months (which is obvious!!), then I won't be even eligible to apply for my spousal sponsorship? That doesn't make sense at all to me.The instructions guide says:
" If you answer “Yes” to any question between 5 and 15
You are not eligible to be a sponsor. You should not submit an application.
If you are sponsoring a parent or grandparent, this does not apply to you."
Doesn't say anything about spouse. Totally confusing. Please help. I will really appreciate your responses & advice here.
