Hello, I know that the Parents Sponsorship program did not happen/open this year as they wanted to work on surplus applications received in 2020. Does anyone know when this program will open again? Will this be in 2021 or 2022?

There is no set time for announcements expect something in the new year. That is when program details will be announced too because it always can change.
Most likely 2022 given those selected this year are still submitting their applications.
Guys, it is almost mid-year, any news on when the Parents and Grand-parents sponsorship program will reopen for 2022?
They only selected people in the fall and are facing huge backlogs at IRCC in all categories plus 2 emergencies.
