HELP!!!!!
Hi
I have sponsored both my father and mother and recently received their medical instructions and they have 1 month to complete their medical exam and submit. However, my father was recently (3 months ago) diagnosed with colon cancer and went under surgery and receiving chemotherapy now. I was wondering if anyone could help me with following questions:
1- Can my mother ( main applicant) submit her medical and get her visa to come here alone (they are both on same application but we received the medical letter separate. Can only she send her medical and get the visa and my father can be dealt with later on)?
2- what happens to my father case? are they going to reject him due to cancer? even when it's treated and doctors saying his survival rate is 95% for the next 5 years ( at least).
3- if they reject my father, what happens to my mom? can she still get the visa?

Any advise would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Al

No, both parents must pass the medical even if just 1 will be actually going to Canada and other is non-accompanying.

It depends if they feel he will be excessive demand to Canadian healthcare. Make sure to get as much doctors info as possible about his high chance of recovery with not much care/cost required, for if CIC later questions you on this.

No, if 1 parent fails medical then both parents are rejected in the app.
