Parents sponsorship Income proof

Hi,

I was thinking of applying for sponsorship for my parents in India. As per CIC website I should meet the Income threshold in order to apply and they need option C. So My income was not enough for last two years and Now I have filed my taxes for last year which meets the requirement pretty much. So I should apply now though my income was low for last 2 years. CIC is going to consider the income for last three consecutive years.

2016 QUOTA is complete. If you need to apply in 2017, you need to show 2013, 2014, 2015 income and you need to meet the minimum income criteria for all these three years to qualify, assuming that the rules are the same next year.

I think you need to wait at least 2 more years. So before you apply, you need to have 3 years of Option C or NOA that meets the minimal income required for the family size.

If you meet income requirements for 2015, 2016 and 2017 (can't be even $1 less), you can possibly submit an app to sponsor your parents only in January 2019 assuming rules are still the same at that time.
