Parents sponsorship application: originals or copies

Hi, does anybody know if it is Ok to submit a copy of the letter from a foreign bank confirming that I have received the interest on my deposit? The thing is I have only one original but we are submitting two applications, one for my parents and one for my husband's and since we co-sign each application we need to attach a copy to each application.

It is tough, as it is a Ukrainian bank I have to deal with and I am in Canada. I won't be able to get it until I go there which won't happen soon. I phoned CIC and they said it's fine to submit a copy but I am not sure how accurate this information is as very often the agents don't know what they are talking about.
