My parents had a social marriage in the 80s and does not have a marriage certificate. They are currently visiting me in Canada. The last day for the submission of their documents is March 14. I can provide all the documents(passport,aadhar card, joint bank accounts etc) to prove that they have been married. But I can provide the marriage registration certificate/affidavit only after they return to India in May and get those documents. Can I explain this to IRCC and will they accept it? Helpful replies will be highly appreciated. I am really confused.
