Hi Everybody,

Visiting the forum after quite some time so congratulations to all who got their visa.

My ecas status changed to "Decision Made". Once I click on that, it gives me following loads of information:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on Month Day, 2009.
2. We started processing your application on June, 2015.
3. We sent you medical instructions on Month, 2013. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.
5. We sent you medical instructions on June, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
6. We sent you correspondence on June, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Note that Medical result received shown in bullet 4 is for 1st medicals and then they requested 2nd medicals in June of this year.

My questions is looking at bullet 5 and 6, do i need to worry about these as medicals were already completed and additional documents were also sent. Could it be that they haven't received medicals and documents yet? My tracking number shows that documents were received in mid July. Is it standard format they upload into online status. Should I wait for any correspondence from CIC?

Any comments?

Timeline:
Application: July 2009
Sponsor Approved: Sep. 2012
1st Medicals: March 2013
File transfer to London from ISB: May 2014
2nd medicals and additional documents: June 2015

Thanks.

SuperVisa is only issued to parents, not to siblings.
Siblings would receive regular visitor visa if issued.
You can apply, no harm in trying.

You should apply GCMS notes to see the progress and medical notes on file.

Hi Canvis,
I am stressing out my self with a question. Hope you or anyone who has some info can give me an idea.
My brother was 19 when we filed the sponsorship application, now that sponsorship has been approved , he is 22 and got married and moved to u.k. we informed cic that he will no longer be coming to canada. Now visa office has sent medicals, no medicals for him...and asked us to police clearance. Does he need to do police clearance even if he is married? He is not studying or anything...so based of defination of dependants he is no longer a dependant and therefore should not do the police clearance? Correct?

How does the MP provide you an update?

I asked MP to get an update since GCMS notes wasn't enough for me . They can directly talk to Visa Office to get the latest update. Even the information I got from MP it wasn't in GCMS notes , as I already mentioned every 6 weeks I apply for GCMS notes.
thanks

Hi Hashhusp,
We seem to have the same timelines, I also got medical request in May 2015, and since then there has been no updates (it only shows "we started processing your application on Jun 18, 2015). Did you send GCMS or any other inquiry after your medical or just waiting to hear from CIC. Its been 3 months now and hopefully we don't have to wait until after the medical expiry.

Thanks
Tp

I got an email today requesting fingerprints for my brother who is in canada on TRV. He is a dependent on my family sponsorship file. Is it a normal procedure? How long it might take? Has anyone on family sponsorship ever got it done? We have 30 days to respond. Any input will be appreciated.

Hearing nothing from CIC lately, are they back to "no work" mode. Or is it the upcoming federal election that is stopping any further movement in the process. Should I ask for GCMS or something else? Its been 3 months since medical was done, and got no request for passport yet. It is worrying me as I see that some of the members have been waiting for over a year after getting their medicals done.

@TP i'm in the same boat as you, had medical request since march 2015, then they asked for further documents in May-June 2015. no response since.

hi Tp
by looking at your timeline, I am wondering that you applied in 2008 and your parents still didn't get PR yet, is anything special in your case, my wife sponsor his father and brother in 2007 and they have been here from 2011. did you contact MP for enquiry, I think you should do that. best of luck

My file was incorrectly closed by CIC after they said they send me additional doc request in 2011, which I never received. The file was reopend again.

Any inputs are highly appreciated.
