We're applying in 2015. We have to show income for 2011,2012,2013 for 5 people even though there were 4? Baby was born in 2014.

u have to show income for 5.coz ur baby also depend on u.

Very new to this forum and the whole parent sponsorship process at all.
Please clarify couple questions for me:
1. If I have enough income, I don't need my husband as a co-signer? Why then they ask in Financial Evaluation form if my spouse is employed?
2. We have 2 kids – 17 and 20 – living with us, do I indicate them both as dependant? I think only 17 y.o. one. What if my spouse starts his own application for his parents, does he include kids again?
3. What is total number of persons for the purpose of determining my minimum income? I understand it's not my spouse and not a 20 y.o.son? So just 1 son and my mom I want to sponsor?
4. Does income need to be exact number? Can I round to less (50000 instead of 50122 for example)? (I lost one NOA, remember approximately)
5. I don't see requirements to submit any documents (proof of birth, of education, copy of passport, anything?), is it correct or I missed some?
6. As I understand a whole process, I can fill the forms now, but need to go back on the website and download them again updated on Dec. 31? And then only one day left to fill and send?

If you don't need your husband as co-signer that's fine. Where they ask for in Application about co-signer please don't mention anything related to same. You need to fill financial evaluation for your husband if he is co-signer.

"Indicate every other family member not included and dependent on you financially, whether they are living with you or not." Based on this criteria.

3. What is total number of persons for the purpose of determining my minimum income? I understand it's not my spouse and not a 20 y.o.son? So just 1 son and my mom I want to sponsor?
In financial evaluation if you fill column 2-6 you will get this answer. Again it depends on what you write for #2.

4. Does income need to be exact number? Can I round to less (50000 instead of 50122 for example)? (I lost one NOA, remember approximately)
CIC need Option C or Assessment from you for last 3 years (Line 150 in that is your income). So better to put whats mentioned in there.

There is checklist at bottom of http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5771E.pdf please use same.

Nope. Fill now, take print and send. If they change it before you send application than you will have to do process again. For now whats on site is fine to fill and send.

CIC can ask for proof of LICO until the pr application is approved.

CIC addresses this question directly in the guide:

"Do I have to maintain a minimum income during the processing of the application?

Your Minimum Necessary Income must meet or exceed the Federal Income Table for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship above on the date on which the sponsorship application is signed until the day your family members are permanent residents.

Income may be reassessed at any time during processing if new information indicates that you may no longer meet the minimum income requirements or if more than 12 months have passed between the dates on which we receive your application and when processing of the application begins."

( my siblings and I are making sure we have living arrangements for our parents to prevent any problems with the application) and how will cic verify that the sponsor can meet the shelter requirement (a room in their house, an apartment or stay with another sibling who is not the sponsor)

6 months in our case.

Our doc request was dated August 2, 2013. We sent in all the docs October 15, 2013. Received sponsorship approval (and file transfer to Ottawa) on February 6, 2014.

It is not necessary for sponsored parents to stay with their sponsor, they can stay wherever they wish.

My understanding is that the sponsors and sponsored persons have the freedom to make whatever living arrangements suit them. I have only seen this mentioned in the sponsorship undertaking.

I have never heard of CIC doing any verification of living arrangements. However, since shelter is part of the sponsorship responsibilities, it is certainly possible that they do investigate this at times. Maybe only if there are complaints or they become aware of a problem?

No brother, now news. last time ordered GMCS in July 2014 and the only update was that file is moved to London.
