yeahhhhhhhh finally my dad got Passport with PR visa

he received a call from CIC & ask him to travel within 5 days as his medical is going to expire so he coming on 22 Feb, exactly after 78 months.

I wish all the members get their visa soon.

Congrats, atleast he got it - so drop all, book ticket and land

Post your full timeline for others

On Dec30 CHC ND sent Med &PCC request and must return in 60 days. Wonderful thing was they send that email to a address we provided during my parents visit visa. But we actually provided different email address for sponsorship. Anyways we found out that email yesterday and we almost ran out of time of 60 days. It's nearly impossible to get PC and meds in 10 days. I emailed CHC ND about the situation. Well I wish they will consider it and extend few more days. Any one faced this type of situation.

We had similar situation, wrong email and I never got the request for meds and PCC. I contacted MP but it could be a coincidence that ND pulled my file and put it in process. Interestingly, those who were asked to send meds, PCC were also asked to send all the docs which you originally sent to CIC-M. But in our case, they actually opened the docs of CIC-M and ask me few clarifications for activities, meds and PCC

Thank you user for ur reply. Can you please let me know how you got med and pcc request later time? Did They reply to your email or MP helped you? What if we send the requested meds and pcc a bit later say 10 more days after the dead line of 60 days?

I emailed, Faxed and sent case-specific to ND with URGENT email atleast X 3 times + MP ( but I don't think MP helped coz they told me things when ND already contacted me )
Since my folks in Canada - they sent OUTSIDE India med form which has pre-filled IME# ( this I got via email ). They called our India contact to confirm address and sent the doc request via regular mail

I got updated PCC's from Indian Consulate ( Vancouver ), got meds done locally and flew to India to drop passports

I am really tensed now. How long it took for them to reply to your Urgent email. Yes I did case specific enquiry stating urgent too. Please let me know.

Oh I forgot, I actually called ND and fought my way to transfer me to Immigration Dept. I left a strong msg suggesting my File #, and the fact that we missed apps due to wrong email
I got reply within 1 hr and said we have now corrected ( whereas I had asked to correct 8 months in advance ) They sent all docs within 10 days after that

Now see the picture below
They emailed PCC, MEDS, DOC Request on Nov 8, 2012 which went to the wrong email, now I found out about this on 15th Jan, 2013 where I made the call etc but if you see below, ( before they mention about the call ), they themselves have an internal due date to pull the file and if its missing the requested doc they try to contact the applicant, in my case I caught it before hand so my point is don't worry about it. Try your best to reach to them but your file has an internal due date where they work in it and at some point they will see items are missing and email bounce back ( if bounce back )

Don't worry much about it. In this case you just need to inform them about the reason of delay and they will give you a month extension.
