Wow..Congratulations.,,Decision made on January 12??but today is sunday..it means they work on Sunday also..

Ecas is usually updated on the 3rd day after they made changes.

I am happy that some applicants are getting visas and medical requests.
I wish and pray that everyone gets reunited with their parents/dependents ASAP, hopefully CIC speeds up all the cases.
It sure is an extremely long wait.
CIC needs to step up the quotas.

Decision Made on my mother's application today. The status changed to in process on December 5 and decision made on January 12.

Is the passport going to come through courier service or through registered post.

Is Decision made means approved for Visa or could it also mean refusal.

Congratulations. Unless they had issues with file for which they contacted you. Very rarely it is refusal

If a persons plan to sponsor his/her parents, what would be be the option with the new rules.

1) The person came to Canada on Study permit in 2010 and after completing his studies he was on work permit from Nov 2011 to August 2013.
3) In August 2013, he got his PR.
4) The person is earning more than minimum cut off income for 4 persons (Which is good to support his wife and parents).

Is there any possibility to avoid that three year income thing? I just got my PR and wants to apply for my parents.

Please suggest.

The 3 year income thing is now one of the requirements. You can't avoid it. Until you have that, you can bring your parents on a super visa (stay up to 2 years) or a regular visit visa (stay up to 6 months).
