I think you should contact CIC because it is taking too long for you getting that letter of thiers.
i did... and was told that i have to wait for 3 weeks before contacting them regarding the letter that i did not receive... they think the letter can be delayed for 3 weeks...

I wish they realized that our time is valuable too. We are human and we have limits for patience!

Interesting to know that they are still sending paper communication even though they mention that all future communication will be via e-mail (of course, if provided)

SuperVisa,

Did you actually received the decision letter from CPC-M? Some of my friend still didn't although the online status said a decision letter has been sent on Jan 16 or 17. Mine was sent on Jan 20, but haven't got anything.

so i am not the only one with "letter has been sent on Jan 18" and no letter? I blamed canada post for losing it... but if i'm not the only one - it might mean that CIC did not really send the letters... may be updated the status and even printed them but did not actually send...

May be.... It happens with cra too... They say they mailed it but it takes forever to reach us.

Parentsponsor, when did you send the updated documents ?
Also, when did you originally applied ?

What embassy did the application go to ?

Thanks

If on-line status says Decision made means cic forward your application to your nearest visa office.

You don't need get any letter from cic in Canada.

Now wait for medical form your nearest visa office.

yes - that's what i thought... i was just thinking that some applications might go to Ottawa - it would be nice to know if your application is in the local office or Ottawa...

For 2009 applicant i would say you can start filling up the forms and start gatheing the document as you could see that the time limit of 1 year now got changed to 90 days only. and with new process who sends all the documents first will get review first. So when CIC send the letter to 2009 applicant you are ready to roll and ahed of your tsak :) so you dont end up like me who still not able to send the applications yet as some dcuments tackes times to gather and some of the things are very tricky on the forms. you all needs to fill out the same forms like us so go to the below link and start filling out the forms you needs to complete the IMM008, IMM 5669, & IMM 5406
