Hi Anik:
To issue an visa you need to have atleast 6 months validty , i hope your parents are in safe side and other thing in India now regular renewing passport is only takes 3 business days only, my mother got recently, and we have to go to Passport office in person b'cos they are taking picture for the passport there itself, if you still want passport in 1 day you can go for Takal system with Rs.1000 as fee. Its very easy now in India.

I have question, b'cos since I am the one who applied on 2009 feb, I unable to see anybody on my timeline, 90 % are 2008 applicants, do I am in the wrong forum, do anyone knows anyother forums to check about 2009, ( I already checked in this same website itself). I feel like iam left out alone. Anybody please help.

Electronic File > Status of App >>> "N delhi
and
and you do not need to select Immigration File in Canada and its related options.
Also one can select either Email or CD (not both). In any case, there would not be any difference between the 2 as both formats would contain the same information.

Select Email, if the file size is larger than 10mb, they will send CD by mail. So selecting Email does not guaranty they will email you, it again depends on the size of file.

i got additional documents requests from visa office
i have already sent these documents to cic when it first asked for additional request
should i send the copy again and also i want to know about police certificate i have sent that before with additional request and it is asking again
should i send copy of it ? do u guys know how long the police certificate is valid for once it is issused

I hope the answer is yes, especially about the PCC they have certain time of validity, some place 10 months some place 6 months, so about your PCC might me expired according to their conclusion, better do it again, by way could you please update your time line please

Thanks for replying, i unable understand the question, actually my mothers passport is ggoing to expire on July2013, so we renewed the passport and i send the copies of all the pages in the passport.

I asked that because LVO-ND asked for medicals and original passports from applicants in November 2012. didn't they ask you for that yet?

Hi there:
My ecas also start working again and now showing Applicant address my address in Canada b'cos i'm my mom's representative, but in my case you check my timeline. I wonder in the forum I'm the only person applied on 2009.

majority of the updates are from 2007 and 2008 members and hence most of the 2009 members are quite but you are in the right forum. its just a matter of time till this forum starts to get flooded by updates from 2009 applicants.
