Well if she has previous 3 years tax filled and eligible as per LICO then why not? but she will have to wait until Jan 2017 when CIC starts PGP again. Tell her to start collecting required documents and prepare herself as to how to get into 10K cap.

Thanks Pamma97! She's filled taxes for 2013-2016. Not sure if she meets Lico requirement. She thought that had to be PR for over 3 years with taxes filled 3 years before she can sponsor her parents.

Nope its not the case, if you meet LICO for previous 3 years (2013,2014,2015 incase she applies in 2017) she is good to apply.

How long it takes to get visa after passport request. My parents submitted passport over a week ago but didn't get it back yet.

U can call or email them regarding ur passport. I don't think so it is take that much longer. First call them and email them abt ur passport if no response go by ur self to Delhi and find out wts going on becoz don't take chance with passport. R u sure passport is still in New Delhi office ? I mean they may be sent u but something wrong happen in between. So better to cheak with Delhi.

No passport are with us till from dec 2015 ...we retrun visa and copr dec frst week theb they cancel the stamp writing cancel without prejudice...and return dec end in jan we submit new form for chabge of principal applicant ...now we dont know what delhi visa office do with is

I got my immigration visa stamped and my COPR, will land in May 2016.

Currently my parents are with me in Uae. After my landing when they can come on a super visa?

What are the pre requisites.
As far as I know job and paying taxes.. but is there any restriction of time frame after getting the job or PR card or anything?

Agree, MP enquiry helps a lot, I too got decision made and ppr on Mar 21, but the visa is not issued yet. Worried if they may not delay again in issuing visa

What does it mean, if my ecas status changed from "decision made" (two days ago) to "In Process" (today)? Could it be any issues with my file again? Passport was submitted almost two weeks ago, not received back yet.

I have just moved to canada and i want to avail social housing but i am reluctant to do so cz i want to sponsor my mother through super visa. I am not sure whether this will be a hindrance in future or not. I am not availing any other social assistance benefits. Can somebody help.me
