Hi i went to my ecase this friday i saw that the status of my application for permanent residence (parents grand parents) changed from documents received to in process.When i clicked in they said that they started to process the application last monday september 22 2014.So my question was to know how long would it take for them to process it in order to call us for the medical visit.

Regarding my case can i have a time frame in days or months.

I started in march 2005 and for some reason that i don t understand my sister who was suppose to sponsor us didn t handle it tht well. Anyways in november 2011 she send docs for permanent residency and in november 2013 they requested docs and ask for my sister to add my step mother in the file because my mom died in 2002 and my dad was married in 2007 and they asked docs like police certificate our activities since we were 18 me my dad and stepmomo.Therefore in february 2014 they accepted the sponsorship and last monday they started to process the permanent residency application.so my question was to know how long will it take for me to have it process since i ve been waiting for almost 10 yrs now

I don t know but we added recently my step mom as a non compagnon and they anwered us in february 2014 and the sponsoring already been accepted long time ago

Yes, same here. I would say its not a boat anymore its Titanic/Ship we are all on it.
our case is June 2009, file transferred to London in March/14, i got a response from London office via MP office that it would take several months before they start working on it. so no medical as yet and dont know when? i would advise you to order gcms every month so you know whats going on.
do you have any dependants over or under 22?

my case also transfered to london in april 2014.

GCMS > Global Case Management System - It is updated by Immigration Officers with their notes and also contains information on the progress and history of application.

You can order GCMS notes at the following link https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en
It costs CAD 5 and takes about 30 days to get after submitting the request.

yes it's good you paid all the fees already. We did the same.

London office is now responsible for processing Pakistani sponsorship/skilled immigration cases.
Please be glad you're not dealing with the turtles @ CHC Islamabad anymore.

These days CHC Islamabad is issuing visas/copr and dealing with TRV, PRTD stuff only. Or conducting interviews.
Only very old cases are in Islamabad which are pending forever.
