GCMS notes basically tells you on what's going on your file, the steps already has taken and officer notes on your file as it got forward. if security, criminality has been completed or not.
No they does not tell you when the next step will be.

Don not worry I am 2011 applicant also. I called and confirmed from CIC that new rule does not apply to US. By the way what is your application date?

Are the dependents over 22 or under 22 at the time of application? usually, the application are without the dependents or with dependents but under 22 at the time of application are faster than the ones have dependents but over 22 at the time of application.
we have a same issue; my brother in law was over 22 when applied but sister in law was under 22, but i suspect that this may cause delay.

Thanks alot i will use this to get the notes and also well i think my case is the same we have one brother in law he was 17 and sister in law was 20 at the time of application but now well both are above but brother in law is 22 now i think that doesn't matter cause we got the files in when they were under 22. i will let you know if i get any response from them

My mother is also a 2009 applicant from Bangladesh, file tranferred 30 Jul 2013 to Singapore, no medical request yet.

Relax, its anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks, its usually mailed the day ( or day before ) DM on Ecas Status. Almost everyone has the excitement about passport return - but it does come, just wait for postman

Hi gill kaur as per forum memebers u see inlaw was there with us he also got re-medical but not updated with e-cas ,, and other were also there whose e-cas was not updated so dont worry ,, and one more can i know ur completed time line ,, as per my knowledge u are 2007 applicant like me but for information regarding time line can u pls share ur complete time line including file trf to new delhi

Apparently Mississauga office working on files received between November 18, 2009 and May 28, 2010, already 48 months have passed and still no sign. How many applicants got approval for first step? I am still waiting, anyone?
