for what purpose Do we use Kisok ABC(Automated Border Clearance) ELECTRONIC SYSTEM AT PEARSON (YYZ) & can we apply for PR card through dis system

PR Card will be issued (automatically) once you land. No need to apply for it.

The COPR's will be taken by CIC at airport and you'll get a stamped copy for your own record/use. They use that to generate PR Cards.

And the ABC does not apply to you, u will need to see Immigration Canada officials to complete landing formalities.

PR card will be mailed in 3-4 weeks..
apply for social insurance number , msp
Driver license, bank account
they are now issuing a new bc services card which combines your msp card and drivers license...

For MSP, there is a question

Recent move to BC, and Recent move to Canada. I assume these dates are from Landed Immigrant perspective coz technically parents came to BC in June, 2012 but on visitor visa
Also, I read on MSP that we might need to goto ICBC for it, or can we mail it

In addition, parents don't have jobs but are sponsored so do they qualify for MSP premium assistance and pharma care?

they didn't ask anything, rather CIC officers were in great mood @ Pearson T3.
no questions, a quick landing and they were out in 30 mins.

if you want the new card which combines drivers license and care card then yes you have to go to icbc
you can apply for pharmacare after you receive the care card.. For msp premium assistance you have to wait for 1 year..
For the first year you have to pay full amount for MSP..which frankly is not much if you compare it with the quality of health care you receive here..

i think he knows what does PCC stands for but was surprised the fact that they would even ask for that even after visa has been issued.
