Ordered GCMS notes twice.
As per notes parents will be interviewed, no scheduled date yet.
Security/Criminality not started yet.
Submitted passports expiring in May-July,2014

it said..eligibility,ceriminality,medical = passeed
nothing in front of Security...
File location = JB10901 (before it was FCU-DIS)
ecas- In-proces(6th dec 2013)
medical expiry- 17 jan 2014..

still waiting for medical request........can anybody have a guess that how much time still to go for medical request?anybody have 2009 case done their medicals?its hard to wait 7 months passed documents send to chc isb(schedule A, IMM 5406, additional family information, supplementary information form for pakistani nationals).can anyone have timeline similar to it share ur experience

Hii in my case my father is in punjab police working as inspector bt as faculty in academy ... In earlier years he was in either cid unit or other kind of services .... So will u be able to tell how long we are supposed to wait .... by 24 th jan r medical gonna expire .... Interview fr my father only was held in april 2013 ... Aftr dt he submitted his job details since his joining .... R file was applied in march 2008 ..... I will appreciate ur opinion

If all is done, not sure what are they waiting for and Med expiry is so close. The file is with VISA officer, and FCU-RFV was my last location. Security is always blank but is usually passed with Criminality
When was last GCMS notes, as I said every 15 days is best mantra

Unfortunately, hard to guesstimate - best is GCMS notes and that too often ( like every 15 days ) to see if they need anything, other than that, you really have no choice but to wait. I assume considerng the nature of your fathers work, they might be taking time for background checks as they are to rely on 3rd parties to provide information

Sometimes they call folks for interview but its actually taking fingerprints for RCMP, usually done randomly and for those visited Canada in the past. It could be due to Dependent too, can't say 100%
