Parents income for sponsorship info

Hi community, I landed in Canada on march 14, 2014 as a PR.. ive been working ever since.. my parents are currently in Canada on work permit and im deciding to sponsor them for PR.. I also have my Tax notice of assesment from 2014 and 2015 last year.. im planning on sponsoring them next year 2017 would I be able to sponsor them based on the past year tax assesment? and my income thresold is $35,000 is it possible to sponsor? need advice thanx

Unfortunately you don't meet the income requirements to sponsor them. First of all, assuming you don't live in Quebec, you need to meet the minimum income requirement for three years in a row. This means that to sponsor them in 2017, you would need to meet the income requirements in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Secondly, your income is too low for a family of three (assuming you have no spouse or children). You need to be making over $45K to qualify.

my spouse income is $40,000 yearly . would he able to sponsor his parents in 2018 parents sponsorship.

No - he can't. His income needs to be almost $60K to qualify (this is assuming you have no children - if you have children it will be higher).

How about me I am Canadian citizen soon. I come to Canada as a refugee. All my family is under my file when I was coming to Canada as a UNHCR. my family stays in a refugee camp. In Mogadishu. They are too many people for me to bring them here. As a sponsor I also alone don't have any one to support me to bring them here. They are My Mother, my step-father. My sister's and brothers. They all are 10 people. 8 children's. Age 15 ,14, 13, 12, 8 ,5 , 2 ,1 , and 5 months old.. please I need information!!

To even enter the lottery for sponsoring 2 parents + 8 children + yourself = 11 people family size.

This means you need to be making around $117,000 for past 3 years.

If you aren't making this income, then you don't qualify to sponsor your family so most likely there is nothing that you can do.

What is the required income now in 2019 to sponsor 2 parents. I dont have children yet...
