Parents in Canada can i apply under privacy act for their CAIPS/GCMS notes

Guys

My parents are in Canada these days. Can my father apply for CAIPS / GCMS notes under Privacy act rather than right of information act.

We can send in his copy of passport, visa and immigration stamp to prove he is in Canada.


Any help would be appreciated.

You must be living in canada to apply for GCSM notes. Who is applying for who?? You're sponsoring your parents??

Whoever applies must be in canada and can apply for someone's GCSM notes as long as tht person signs the form allwoing them access to the info.
The person filing the application pays $5.

I got mine in exactly 30days via email.
