My application was equally moved from Mississauga to Montreal back in March 20th 2024 and since then no further updates. Not sure how fast Montreal visa office processes applications, just hoping for the best.

I called IRCC and asked, they said Montreal office is quite backed up and not to expect updates for 2-3 months. In my case the file had to be transferred because my parents are in Canada and have to be landed here, so it is handled by the Montreal office via the PR portal. She said the application is fully approved even though its not showing online as such

thank you for your valuable info. i have not receive any AOR yet. could that be the reason i am unable to link? Also would my parents get email notification of any further request (PCC, medical) or it will be through GC account?

Until you link your account they will continue to correspond via email. Once you link the letters are directly uploaded to the account you get a simple notification saying "you have an update on the portal" you go there and download the letter then follow the instructions

Yes. All communications will be sent by email if your application is not linked to your GCKey account.

Seems like the plan is to draw until the 2020 pool has no more profiles. If that is the case, it will open in 3 years or so.

Received a letter from CIC. Please advice what to give in place of 5th to high school certificates/marksheets. I have 10th, 12th certificates and marksheets but not the 5th to 8th class marksheets and we don't have ration card:

2023. A review indicates that the application you submitted does not meet the
requirements for processing as the application is incomplete.
Your application does not meet the requirements for processing as the following item(s)
is/are missing or incomplete:

Proof of Relationship (SPR): As proof of relationship to the principal applicant, please
provide your voter ID card, Aadhaar card and old school records (Fifth class, Middle
standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate). If you are unable to provide
these items, you may provide the principal applicant's Ration card, your Indian passports
(expired and current) and/or OCI, and PAN/Income Tax card. NOTE: Affidavits are not
acceptable as proof of relationship. If you are sponsoring your grandparent, you must
include a copy of your mother or father's birth certificate, as well as your own birth
certificate in order to support your relationship to the principal applicant. If the birth
certificate is not in English or French, a notarized (certified) translation in either English
or French with a copy of the original version must be provided. In addition also include
as proof of relationship to the principal applicant, please provide your mother's or father's

I am finally able to link application to online account.
Here is what worked for me

- i was entering 5 for total no of applicants including sponsor +spouse+sponsors dependent children+ principal applicant + spouse

-I entered 4 for total no. Of applicants and was successful. Excluded sponsors children
