So what I am sensing is that Vancouver office folks are doomed? That office will take forever?
Anyone here from Vancouver? how can we contact the office and tell them to speed up things. I dont want my parents waiting for another 2-3 years

I applied for my parents PR last November and today I got application number starting with F + biometric collection request.
2 questions:
I'm not able to link the application through various ways, does that usually take time?
My parents should be exempted from biometrics as they have done it for their visa application before, what should I do?

Also I received the pre-arrival email today as well.

Sorry just to clarify - how do i know which office is responsible for my PR processing? When I got my invite in Oct, it was from Mississauga however my home address has always been in Vancouver

Visitor Visa biometrics are not valid for PR application. You will have to do it again.
And for linking your application, may be try again in couple days.

Hello, I submitted Nov 7 no update since then. No additional information requested, No AOR, I can’t link GCKey too.
Anyone knows what might be going on. I’m in Calgary, Alberta and my mum is with me. My sister is a dependent.

Hi All, submitted sponsorship for my parent in Dec. If we are asked to resubmit IMM 5406, then we have to submit 2 of such forms - 1 each on behalf of father and mother, right? There are no dependent children
And do we have to add details in native language also in those forms, and how?

Am from Vancouver and I know Vancouver office is the slowest based on some personal and family experience . Do not know what can we do though.

Hi all, I received the sponsorship approval letter for my mother and the medical exam letter on 19th. But still no AoR and ECAS can't locate my application. I have linked the application with GC Key though. Anyone facing similar issues?

Hey were you able to link the gc key immediately? I got the biometrics collection doc today, no AoR yet and not able to link the app with gckey. Does it take some time?

Hi All, if anyone can guide here
(Dec submission)
Got the same email saying "A review indicates that the application you submitted does not meet the requirements for processing as the application is incomplete. Your application does not meet the requirements for processing as the following item(s) is/are missing or incomplete:
IMM 5406 (for Principal Applicant) and Valid Passport (should be valid for at least 12 months)
IMM 5406 (for Dependant) and Proof of Relationship (provide Aadhaar and Voter's ID card for yourself and your spouse)

Need your help in these Ques -

1. I rechecked my form couple of times but could not find any field missing (except for email field which was optional), so not able to understand what part are they saying missing, which I need to fill in. I had included all the children for both my parents (including me and my siblings). And I had included all brother and sisters of both my parents with their required details ! Any idea?
2. I need to resubmit separate IMM 5406 forms for both my parents ? and it asks for native language, how to add that (and in same form or separate). There are no dependent child to my parent so no other forms are required I believe?
3. Primary applicant's Valid passport - Not sure why they are asking again when I had already submitted the same. I can submit the same again, however the validity of that passport is till Nov 2024 and my Dad wont be able to renew it yet as he is planning to travel in few days. Will that be an issue as they mentioned passport should be valid for 12 months?
4. Voter ID card have our old home address from over 10 years back, can that be an issue?
