Hey folks,

I have a few questions regarding uploading passports/travel docs, I would really appreciate if someone could help me with them.

- In "travel documents and passports" section of supporting docs, do we have to include only sponsor/co-sponsors' passports and not the person being sponsored?
- Should passports of person to be sponsored be included in the "additional supporting documents" section?
- For person being sponsored, should we include all pages of their valid/current passport even if it's brand new with no stamps? (do you recommend to additionally include their most recent expired passport with stamps as well?)

IMM 5772 Guie Pg#133 Says:
Passports
Passports for each person being sponsored should include all the pages and be uploaded under “Additional supporting documents” in your online application.
The sponsor’s and co-signer’s passport should
include the pages showing the passport number, issue and expiry dates, photo, name, surname, and place and date of birth
be uploaded under “Supporting documents” in your online application.
You don’t need to get translations for the stamps in passports.

Asking again for help..in birth certificate if parents names are initialed submitting a letter of explanation is good enough?
Hi,
In whose birth certificate? yours (as sponsor) or your parents (as applicants)?

If in yours than I would suggest to get an affidavit for safety and avoid follow up with IRCC.
If in your parents than don't worry as they do not need to provide their birth certificates as applicants.

Also one more query, I individually can qualify for MNI, should I add my spouse as cosigner to be safe?
She does not individually have more income than MNI for year tax year 2020 as she just started working in 2019 last quarter and for 2023 tax year as she was on maternity in 2022.

IMM 5772 Guide-Page#133 : If you don’t have access to a birth certificate for someone you’re sponsoring, or the one you have doesn’t clearly show your relationship (for example, a name is incorrect), you can give a document that shows the relationship between you and your family member along with a letter of explanation. You should also still include a copy of your birth certificate.

Question on IMM 5669 Section D says: Provide the details of your personal history for the past 10 years, or since your 18th birthday if it was less than 10 years ago.

Checklist 5771 Asks for : Note: For section D, if the principal applicant or a dependant has not worked in the past 10 years (e.g. they are retired), they must provide details of their personal history since the age of 18.

Which is best option ?? Going with Check list or 5669 ?

Thank you very much for clarification. Just one more question on parent's education. My mom has done her matriculation only. How many years of education that will be considered i.e. how many primary school and how many secondary school years?
Thanks a bunch.
Primary school : 5 years
Under Secondary: 7 years (total)
Matriculation : 5 years + Pre-University Course ( PUC / Intermediate) : 2 years

In your case, Elementary (5 years), Matriculation (5 years) put under secondary

No one knows.

Aren't you in the 2020 pool if you have been eligible for that long?

So do you meet LICO with your NOAs for 2020,21, 23 to sponsor your parents with the number of people in your family. If you do on your own, you don’t need to include your spouse’s income unless sponsoring her parents.
