From my experience, calling early morning 8-9am is the best time. If an agent is not available, you do get the option for a call back.

I was able to get through, and the update was that the medicals have expired, and it is upto the immigration officer's discretion on whether they'd request them again.

so I guess that's why they don't show up on the online portal anymore?

hmm, I also noticed that the processing time on the website is showing 26 months, vs 36 months earlier
Yes, I noticed that too. I wonder if the processing time applies from the time that we apply or the updated ones? When I applied it was 22 months, then changed to 36 months for the longest time and now down to 26.
