For those being processed in Vancouver office for pop how is the office? Also what is teh step after PCC has been submitted?
Hi, need help understanding passport submission. For my parents I received only one main applicant letter with request to submit. Do parents get separate letters or one letter for both? It says you and any accompanying family members but booking appointment with one letter in India is bit confusing and difficult. Please advise. Thanks
Unsure myself. I submitted the PCC on Sept 19 and got a confirmation letter Oct 11 stating they had received the submitted documents and reviewing it. Nothing since.
Hello Everybody: I'm new here. I've read many entries and it looks like much knowledge exists. Here is my issue:
I applied for PGP sponsorship for my parents in November 2023. In September 2024, I received the biometrics request, which was taken care of within a week. Also, the sponsorship approval was sent the next day, but nothing new has happened since then, and it has been a month.
Also, I have tried in many ways to check for the status on the IRCC site and I never get anything, I have attempted to in 3 ways, using the online tool, the PR tracker, and trying to link the application to the account and I never get anything and yet I keep receiving notifications in my email like the sponsorship approval and the biometrics collection letter. I'm even copy-pasting everything from the letter like the UCI, application number, and names but nothing works. Is anyone else having the same issue? What can I do?
Also, in the sponsorship approval letter they say that the application will be sent to Montreal, does this mean anything?

how should I submit the PCC for my father's application to IRCC. I have got the scanned copy of the PCC. I was trying the IRCC webform but it asked for who is submitting the document. Can I submit it on the behalf of my father. OR can I submit using saying my father is submitting it. please help.

There is only one passport request letter under main applicant name. Under this letter, they should have mention about the dependent passport request. While booking an appointment with VFS, you have to submit the same letter for both applicant. But have to pay fees for 2 applicant with VFS. If you are doing an online pickup request with VFS, then there should be two separate envelop for each applicant.

My parents received their passport request yesterday. My dad is in India and my mom (dependent) is with me in Canada until Feb. I have notified the visa office already about this and they are aware. However I would like to know if someone had been in the same situation before? The letter says if you are in Canada you donot need to send your passport and they will arrange for a virtual landing.
My confusion is how will my mom have her passport stamped in Canada? Also she won't be able to virtually land until my dad (primary applicant) lands first. He has no plans to come within Feb.

I’m livid how incompetent Montreal and Vancouver offices are. And I also have no idea why my application was sent there. Even after submitting web form and Atip and being one month away from 24 months, still no progress
